Uzma Shad Mehr, MD, Pediatrics

Dr. Mehr joined the Oak Orchard Pediatric Group over eight years ago and is caring for patients in the Hornell office. She is board-certified in pediatrics and was Chief of Pediatrics at a local hospital from 2011 until she came to Oak Orchard Health. Dr. Mehr speaks English, Spanish, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Dr. Mehr finds pediatrics to be the most rewarding because it allows her to become a part of not only her patients’ health care but also to play a role in helping them into adulthood. Her approach to patient care is to treat patients as she would want her own children and family to be treated. She enjoys the diverse population she treats at Oak Orchard Health.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and going for walks.
