Katie Quinlan, FNP

Katie’s first positive experience with nurses was when she had open heart surgery at 7 years old. She was in awe of the nurses who were warm, kind, and made her feel safe. From that time forward, medicine has always fascinated her first as an RN and then as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

At Oak Orchard Health, she offers comprehensive care under one roof for her patients, encompassing behavioral health, dental, and vision services. Community health centers support a team-based approach that allows for better coordination and care, especially for families facing barriers such as transportation, language, or financial constraints.

As both a nurse and a mother, she knows firsthand the worries that come with raising children and the importance of having a medical provider who offers reassurance and support. This understanding drives her commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that helps parents feel confident in the decisions they make for their children’s health.

Katie spends most of her free time with her young child, who is “the joy of her life.” She also tries to find time to exercise.
