Health and safety
Oak Orchard Community Health has primarily been administering the MODERNA vaccine. We have recently administered just over 100 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and will now STOP hosting J&J clinics for the time being.
“As the CDC and FDA have said, any adverse events related to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine ‘appear to be extremely rare’ and, ‘People who have received the J&J vaccine who develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination should contact their health care provider.’
Health center visits
If you or your child have a cough or fever, do NOT come into a health center. Call us first so we can access your symptoms and advise you of the next steps.
Use our secure patient website
This short video will show you how to access a private patient portal and a related app for your smartphone. Then you’ll be able to see your lab results, send messages, receive appointment reminders, view or print your visit summary, and so much more. Set up your patient portal today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZT_mLkNxgw
