Christina Sobczak, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

Christina has been caring for children since 2003. She was a pediatric nurse for seven years before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for the last 14 years. She has a master’s degree in nursing, with a specialty in pediatrics.

Why did she become so interested in caring for children? Her first influence was her mother who was a pediatric nurse. So nursing came very naturally to her. Christina also had a heart condition that required surgery when she was in 2nd grade. That experience taught her the importance of medical care.

When caring for children, Christina includes the patient and family in the treatment plan decisions. She strives to make each child and teen feel comfortable while providing the best possible care. She enjoys working at a community health center and caring for many generations of families. It makes her feel good when a patient gets excited to see her in the hall at the office or out in the grocery store.

In her spare time, she likes to do landscaping around her house. She enjoys being outdoors with her husband and dogs. Christina rides horses and competes in horse shows.

She is accepting new patients.
