Bethany Roth, LMSW, Behavioral Health Therapist, Brockport

Bethany chose to work in behavioral health because she had experiences within her family and friend groups that struggled with substance abuse and mental health. She wanted to find ways to help people work through their struggles and create better lives for themselves.

She strives to be genuine with her clients and help them feel safe working on their areas of need without judgment. She feels that they are the professionals of their life experiences, and she wants to help them navigate and find solutions that work for them. She chose Oak Orchard Health due to its innovative approach to care. They provide integrated care connecting physical and mental health services. Oak Orchard works with other organizations, such as the University of Rochester, to ensure best practices are implemented.

When she isn’t working, Bethany spends her time gardening and canning the produce from the garden. She enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys art and volunteering,
