Ashlee Tobey, LMSW, Behavioral Health Therapist, Brockport

Ashlee is a graduate of Nazareth University and works at the Oak Orchard Health (OOH) Brockport office. She chose a community health center because she appreciates the ease of access to behavioral health services for patients with and without insurance. People have busy and complex lives and OOH makes it easier to access medical and mental health services.

Her approach to care is to trust in her patients. Ashlee says, “I allow patients to be in the driver’s seat. Ultimately, the patient is the expert on their experiences.” Her approach is trauma-informed and solution-focused. It upholds the patient’s perspective while gently pivoting them from unhealthy thinking patterns and views of self and the world.

Outside of work she enjoys Pilates, taking walks and being her family and friends.
