Dr. Shaylyn Tuite Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, DO, MS

Dr. Tuite has been practicing medicine for the past 6 years and is Board Certified in Psychiatry—ABPN.

She chose a career as a psychiatrist because her father is a pediatrician and her mother is a special education teacher, she saw early on how the right support can change lives. Dr. Tuite says that this inspired her to work toward improving access to mental health care across multiple settings.

Her approach to patient care is Holistic, using the biopsychosocial model. She chose Oak Orchard Health because she wanted to treat people of all ages and from all walks of life.

In her spare time, Dr. Tuite enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors.
