Oak Orchard Health Timeline
Funded initially by a grant from the University of Rochester to provide primary care services to migrant agricultural workers, Oak Orchard began operating in a storefront at 52 North Main Street in Albion, NY. Three curtained off exam areas were used to see patients.
The Primary Care Office in Albion was incorporated in the State of New York.
Oak Orchard opened an office at
80 West Avenue in Brockport.
Oak Orchard opens its larger center at 301 West Avenue in Albion.
OOH Albion becomes a Federally Qualified Health Center.
OOH Brockport becomes a Federally Qualified Health Center.
OOH Brockport moves down the street to the site of our present main office at 300 West Avenue. The new location provides space for family medicine, pediatric, dental and vision services.
For the next 10 years, the Albion and Brockport locations continued to grow and add patients.
Mobile Dental Unit
OOH dental services gets wheels and travels to Wyoming and other counties providing rural communities better access to critical dental services. Today, the mobile dental unit serves seven districts in two counties.
Oak Orchard opened its doors in Lyndonville, NY.
Oak Orchard offices in Brockport, Albion and Lyndonville became PCMH certified at Level 3 under the 2008 standards.
Oak Orchard expands to Warsaw, NY where we currently provide pediatric, family medicine and dental care.
Oak Orchard extends our reach to Hornell, NY opening a pediatric practice.
